The sandwiches we ordered were delicious. Bagels and croissants are good. We enjoyed our drinks as well, my London fog wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad. I took a star off because I think the prices are a bit high for what you get. Charging an extra $1.50 for milk alternatives is insane. Cafes typically charge an extra 50 or 75 cents for milk alternatives. It’s an adorable place with great atmosphere and customer service.

Freshly baked pastries! The jalapeno cheddar bagel was tender, crisp and not overpowering the flavors of the sandwich. The egg croissant sandwich with ham and cheddar was also amazing. The iced caramel latte was worth the wait in line. This was my favorite coffee in town! We enjoyed everything at the Centennial park next door
This is one of the few places left that doesn't try to convince you that it is something that it will never ever be. The guy behind the counter is kind of like The soup Nazi and just tells you what they have what they don't have and no they won't make any changes. It's also one of the few places left that knows how to make a real macchiato. Frankly, I loved it, even though I like brewed coffee, which they do not make. It's expensive, they know it, and they don't care. I think people go there for the authenticity, and I will too.
I didn't know you could spend so much on so little. Ordered a macchiato with white chocolate, when they called my name I came up to the counter and picked up a cup that I wasn't even sure contained any liquid. Took my nearly empty cup back to my table, which was generously covered in crumbs. I thought to myself, "Maybe good things come in small packages!" Spoiler alert: I was wrong! My macchiato tasted like nothing I've ever had before, and not in a good way. Upon reviewing my receipt, I noticed not only do they charge you for the flavor, but there is a separate labor charge for the grueling task of pumping said flavor into the cup. Why I left a tip is beyond me. No plans to come back.
Super cute little coffee and breakfast place. We got a croissant breakfast sandwich, two pastries, two coffees, and a slice of quiche. Everything was absolutely delicious. By far one of the best croissants I've had in awhile. They were so light and fluffy. My lavender latte was excellent. Not too sweet and the lavender flavor still shone through nicely. There was a huge line in front of us, but the service was still quick and friendly. Highly recommend!
I would absolutely recommend the Artisan to anyone looking for somewhere to grab a great breakfast. Hats off to Catcher for the great service also!
I love the warm, welcoming atmosphere. This is THE place to get a hot cup of coffee and delicious breakfast sandwich in Ouray!
