Ouray Hot Springs is easily one of the best hot springs in Colorado! Incredible views, right in town, and plenty of options for all ages and activity levels. The options for kids include waterslides, a climbing wall, volleyball, and floating water activity things to play on. For adults, there is an 18+ relaxing (hot) pool with waterfalls. There is also a lap pool for those who want to exercise. Children are only allowed in it if they pass a swim test, and most don't go in there, so there are multiple lap lanes available. The shower and changing facilities are clean, but could use some updates. Overall, I highly recommend these hot springs.

Unfortunately, the Ouray Hot Springs, which is supposed to have healthy mineral spring water, is CHLORINATED. Chlorine uses the same receptor in the body that iodine needs. Iodine is blocked, and this is bad for you. I became very ill. If the Hot Springs is poisoned, the public should be informed--and we are not.
Ouray Hot Springs are a unique experience. The water is hotter than most “hot” springs, and there are three levels of heat. There are slides for the kids, water volleyball, a snack bar, etc. the staff is kind and there are discounts for students, senior citizens, and “ultra” senior citizens. It is a little pricey, but you can go and come all day. As other reviews have mentioned, the views are spectacular. It’s surrounded by mountains and it’s worth a visit.
This was a fantastic place to relax! It is a bit pricey it was about 100 dollars for 4 people! The bathroom facilities are awesome and clean. Overall the hot springs were clean and comfortable. The overlook pool for 18+ was very relaxing but very hot (108 degrees). All other pools were hot too except the lap swim pool! Worth a stop and a great way to reset after a long day hiking!
This place is really wonderful. I love how family friendly it is and how clean the water looks/feels. The locker rooms could use more regular maintenance and cleanups. They were out of toilet paper in one of the stalls on a busy Saturday evening and the women's locker room was quite dirty. Other than that, it was great! I've been here a few times and my experience has been pretty consistent.
