Ouray Ice House Coffee Shop/Ice Cream

My wife and I visited this coffee & ice cream shop for the first time today in beautiful, historic Ouray, CO. The shop was conveniently located just off the main road on 7th Avenue, the outside and inside of the shop was decorated nicely, the friendly owner greeted us as we entered, the shop was larger than the photos show, had sufficient & different kinds of seating with & without tables, some really comfy seats, clean dining room, clean tables, no bad smells at all, tons of bakery items, tons of coffee choices, and tons of homemade ice cream choices!, little play area for little kids, a nice clean restroom that was interesting and did not smell bad (it actually smelled good!, nice music playing, and the free WiFi worked well.

Great little coffee & donut & ice cream shop. The owner is incredible friendly and recommended some things to do around the Ouray area. The coffee is award winning Dark Moon coffee from Las Vegas. Very quaint hole-in-the-wall vibe inside. plenty of places to sit down and enjoy some coffee and a donut. 8.3

We came to get ice cream and the owners were walking out. They closed at 4. They quickly offered to serve us. We felt bad since we knew they were done for the day, but they insisted and it was amazing!!!! Great couple, delicious unique ice cream flavors, homemade, large serving sizes.

Very on theme outdoorsy themed ice cream shop, lots of flavours to choose from. I absolutely loved the Cayenne Cinnamon Honey flavour and the Mint Chip was very subtle and wonderful. The cookies and cream and blackberry cheesecake and caramel were okay. The service was good but I felt a little uncomfortable when presenting my order, as if the person scooping could careless for my order. But other than that I would definitely come back again.

Such a cute coffee shop. The latte was a 10 out of 10 and the staff working were so friendly. Be patient and you you will get the most delicious mini donuts.
